Outdoor switch solid-insulated bushing is a core insulating and conductive component in high-voltage switchgear. Primarily used in 10kV-40.5kV outdoor vacuum circuit breakers, load switches, and other distribution equipment, it serves as a critical component in power systems for ensuring the switching and insulation protection of outdoor high-voltage circuits. Widely compatible with outdoor power distribution scenarios such as power grid distribution, new energy power stations, industrial and mining enterprises, rail transit, and other outdoor power distribution scenarios. They operate reliably in harsh outdoor environments characterized by high temperatures, humidity, dust, and salt fog, serving as the foundational core for achieving miniaturization, intelligence, and maintenance-free operation in outdoor high-voltage switches.
Employing an epoxy resin vacuum casting process, these devices integrally encapsulate core components—including the vacuum arc extinguishing chamber, moving and stationary conductive rods, and insulating supports—into a sealed monolithic structure that blocks external moisture, dust, and contaminants. The core structure comprises three parts: an insulating outer shell, an internal conductive circuit, and an arc-extinguishing unit. The insulating outer shell utilizes weather-resistant epoxy resin material, offering excellent insulation strength and mechanical strength. The internal conductive circuit employs copper material with superior conductivity, featuring silver plating to reduce contact resistance. The arc-extinguishing unit utilizes vacuum arc-extinguishing technology, providing strong arc-extinguishing capability and stable breaking performance.
Compared to traditional split porcelain-insulated bushing poles, the solid-insulated bushing pole eliminates sealing risks at porcelain joints, significantly enhancing insulation reliability. Its compact structure and smaller footprint substantially reduce overall switchgear dimensions. Additionally, it offers maintenance-free operation and excellent vibration resistance, adapting to harsh outdoor conditions like vibrations and extreme temperature fluctuations. It also features anti-condensation and anti-contamination flashover properties. The new outdoor switch molded insulator also features optimized electric field distribution design, enhancing lightning impulse withstand capability. Some models integrate temperature and partial discharge monitoring sensors to meet smart grid condition monitoring requirements, providing core reliability assurance for outdoor high-voltage distribution systems.
